Community Rules & Etiquette and Privacy Guidelines
Thank you for being part of our community. Registration to this community is free.
To ensure the best possible experience for all members, we have established some basic guidelines for participation. If you agree to the terms, please check the "I agree" checkbox and press the "Complete Registration" button below. If you would like to cancel the registration, click here to return.
This networking community is for Press Ganey Patient Safety Organization members only. If you are seeking PSO Platform access, please contact your facility’s PSO Platform Administrator.
Your first time visiting the community you may experience up to an hour delay accessing your selected community while your permissions are updated. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit the Press Ganey All Client Community. There you can build your community profile, access the getting started community guide, view expert advice blogs and read about the latest Press Ganey news.
Your active PSO member status will be verified during this registration process. There may be a delay while we verify your client status and send you a confirmation email. Registrations will be activated during normal operating hours Monday through Friday. You must have a valid e-mail address with your facility. Public e-mail domains (yahoo.com, gmail.com, etc.) will not be accepted during the registration process.
By joining and using this community, you agree that you have read and will follow these rules and guidelines. You also agree to reserve discussions and shared files and content to that best suited to the medium. Press Ganey Patient Safety Organization protections are not provided to this online community. Do not post Patient Safety Work Product (“PSWP”) protected under the Patient Safety Act. Posting PSWP could result in losing the protections and privileges offered under the Act.
This is not a space that you should share Patient Safety Work Product, but rather, best practices for improvement, resources, questions, and networking information. This is a great medium with which to solicit the advice of your peers, benefit from their experience, and participate in an ongoing conversation. Questions should be directed to safetysupport@pressganey.com via the Contact Us link on this site.
Please take a moment to acquaint yourself with these important guidelines. If you have questions, contact safetysupport@pressganey.com. Although the administrators and moderators of the Press Ganey PSO Online Community will attempt to keep all objectionable messages and PSWP off this site, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither Press Ganey nor it’s developers, whether internal or third party, will be held responsible for the content of any message. In order to preserve an environment that encourages both civil and fruitful dialogue, Press Ganey reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership in this community for anyone who violates these rules.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, disrespectful, or otherwise violative of any laws.
The Rules
- Press Ganey Patient Safety Organization protections are not provided to this online community. Do not post Patient Safety Work Product (“PSWP”) protected under the Patient Safety Act. Posting PSWP could result in losing the protections and privileges offered under the Act.
- Do not post your organization’s confidential information, including but not limited to patient information (PHI), PSWP, and personal information about you, your organization, or your colleagues.
- Respect the purpose of the community. Use the community to share successes, challenges, constructive feedback, questions, and goals instead of products or services that you provide. If you’ve found a product or service helpful, please share your experience with the group in a respectful way.
- Use caution when discussing products. Information posted on the discussion groups and in the libraries is available for all to see, and comments are subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws.
- All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials are strictly prohibited. Do not post anything that you would not want the world to see or that you would not want anyone to know came from you.
- Respect intellectual property. By posting material, the posting party warrants and represents that he or she owns the copyright with respect to such material or has received permission from the copyright owner.
- When posting items in our collaborative environment, please indicate if the item is not available for reuse. It’s also advisable to contact the owner of any material if you would like to reuse it.
Discussion Group Etiquette
- State concisely and clearly the topic of your comments in the subject line. This allows members to respond more appropriately to your posting and makes it easier for members to search the archives by subject.
